What Swipey AI actually was

Swipey AI positioned itself as an AI dating coach — not an AI girlfriend, not a companion, but a tool to make you better at dating. The pitch: AI-powered matchmaking suggestions, conversation starters for dating apps, profile optimization, and date planning.

The concept had legs. Dating apps are brutal, and anything that gives you an edge sounds appealing. The execution never matched the promise. Matchmaking felt random, conversation starters were generic, and the "coaching" was closer to a glorified FAQ than actual AI analysis.
