Is LoveDroids ready for prime time?

Not yet. The core experience works — you can sign up, match with a character, and start chatting within 60 seconds. That onboarding is genuinely the best I've tested. But depth is missing. The character library is small compared to GoLove's 300+ roster or even Candy AI's 100+ lineup.

Memory consistency is the biggest issue. Multiple times during testing, my character forgot details from just 4-5 messages ago. On premium. That's a deal-breaker for anyone looking to build an ongoing relationship.

How does the NSFW mode work?

You have to manually enable it in settings — it's not on by default. Once activated, it handles basic NSFW scenarios without deflection. No "as an AI" interruptions. But it lacks the depth and creativity of top-tier apps. Roleplay scenarios feel scripted rather than emergent.
