Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Mr.Pimp collects when you visit, why we collect it, and what your rights are. Plain English, no dark patterns.

The short version: Mr.Pimp uses minimal analytics, no third-party advertising trackers, and never sells visitor data. Outgoing affiliate links use standard tracking parameters. You can opt out of analytics in your browser settings.

1. Who we are

Mr.Pimp ("the site", "we", "our") operates at mr-pimp.com. We are an independent review platform publishing hands-on tests of NSFW AI girlfriend apps and AI chat platforms. We are not affiliated with any AI app vendor.

2. What data we collect

Automatically collected

Server logs: IP address, browser user agent, page requested, referer, timestamp. Retained 30 days, then anonymized.
Analytics: Anonymized page views, time on page, scroll depth, country-level location. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible). No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Affiliate click data: When you click an outgoing link to a partner app, the URL contains a tracking parameter (e.g. ref=mrpimp) so we receive credit. No personal information is sent.

Voluntarily provided

Contact form: If you email us, we retain your message and email address for the duration needed to respond.
Newsletter: If you sign up (when available), we store your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.

We do not collect: account credentials, payment information, or any data about your activity on the third-party AI apps we review. Those services have their own privacy policies.

3. How we use this data

To operate the site: server logs help diagnose errors and prevent abuse.
To improve content: aggregate analytics show which reviews readers find useful.
To earn affiliate commissions: tracking parameters let partner programs attribute referrals.
To respond to inquiries: contact form submissions are read and answered.

We never: sell visitor data, share it with advertising networks, use it for behavioral profiling, or combine it with data from other sources.

4. Cookies and tracking

Mr.Pimp uses no cookies for first-party functionality. The site works fully without any cookie consent because we don't set any.

Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless and does not track users across sites. Read their privacy policy at plausible.io/privacy.

Outgoing affiliate links may set cookies once you arrive on a partner site — those cookies are set by the partner, governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

5. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

Hosting: our hosting provider receives standard server logs (IP, user agent, request path) for traffic delivery.
Plausible Analytics: anonymized aggregate analytics. EU-based, GDPR-compliant.
Google Fonts: font files served from Google CDN. Google logs IP addresses per their privacy policy.
Affiliate partners: when you click an outgoing link, you arrive on partner sites with their own data practices.

We do not use: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Twitter tracking, or any cross-site behavioral advertising network.

6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, others)

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct any inaccurate data.
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
Object to processing for specific purposes.
Data portability: receive your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent for any processing based on consent.

To exercise any right, contact privacy@mr-pimp.com. We respond within 30 days as required by GDPR. For California residents, this applies under CCPA.

7. Data retention

Server logs: 30 days, then anonymized.
Analytics: aggregate data retained indefinitely; no individual records.
Contact form messages: 12 months from last reply, then deleted.
Newsletter subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe.

8. Security

All data transmitted between you and Mr.Pimp uses TLS encryption (HTTPS). Our server software receives regular security updates. We restrict access to server logs to authorized personnel only.

No system is 100% secure. In the unlikely event of a breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users within 72 hours per GDPR Article 33.

9. Minors

Mr.Pimp is intended for adults only (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when laws change or our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in a banner on the site for 30 days.
